Member’s Tasting Dinner at Fonda San Miguel

Fonda San Miguel opened in 1975….were any of you even in Austin at that point or even born??

Well whether you have been there or not, it has been an Austin staple for almost 50 years now! Recently Chef Blanca Zesati & Chef Carlos Monroy took over the chef helm and are putting out some of the classics as well as some dishes with their own spin on things.

Join us as the chefs take us through their stories. Each course will be paired with wine.

First Course

Ceviche Las Brisas

marinated white fish, cucumbers, pico de gallo. Our most popular ceviche. Miguel was given this recipe by a chef in the state of Vera Cruz.

Second Course

Grilled Baby Lamb Chop

served with salsa de morita.

Third Course

Tacos Al Pastor

marinated pork and pineapple, fresh blue corn tortillas, avocado salsa, habanero salsa

Fourth Course

Enchiladas De Pato

shredded duck, poblano-spinach sauce, pasilla powder

Fifth Course

Tres Leches Cake

vanilla cake, trio of milks, cream cheese frosting, mango sorbet, seasonal fruits
